Plasser India is a subsidiary of the Austrian company Plasser & Theurer, a global leader in the design and manufacture of the most cutting-edge machines for track maintenance, track laying as well track renewal. In 2019, Plasser India set up a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Karjan, Gujarat. Plasser India also established a new tamping unit manufacturing plant in Karjan in 2021.
